Tricky Women / Tricky Realities 2024

From March 6 to 10 we cele­bra­te the aes­the­tic, poli­ti­cal and sub­ver­si­ve radi­ance of ani­ma­ted films made by women and/or gen­der­que­er artists!

And: We cele­bra­te hybrid again! With film pro­grams, lec­tures and artist talks at our fes­ti­val cine­ma the METRO Kino­kul­tur­haus / Film­ar­chiv Aus­tria, the ope­ning cerem­o­ny at Gar­ten­bau­ki­no as well as lec­tures and pro­grams at the Aus­tri­an Film­mu­se­um, Brun­nen­pas­sa­ge, Stand_129, an exhi­bi­ti­on at bildrecht_bildraum 07, a big fes­ti­val par­ty at the Rote Bar at Volks­thea­ter. And for ever­y­bo­dy who can’t join us in Vien­na: A lar­ge part of the film pro­grams will also be shown online at our fes­ti­val platform.
