As part of the Human Rights 75 Film Tour 2023–2024, the United Nati­ons Infor­ma­ti­on Ser­vice (UNIS) Vien­na in coope­ra­ti­on with the Inter­na­tio­nal Film Fes­ti­val and Forum for Human Rights (FIFDH) and the Office of the United Nati­ons High Com­mis­sio­ner for Human Rights (OHCHR), invi­tes you to the Ciné-ONU Vien­na scree­ning of the film ‘My Name Is Hap­py’, fol­lo­wed by a panel discussion.

‘My Name is Hap­py’ tells the inspi­ra­tio­nal sto­ry of teenage sin­ging sen­sa­ti­on Mut­lu Kaya as she makes a remar­kab­le jour­ney from gunshot vic­tim to fearless sur­vi­vor. As she batt­les to heal her haun­ting voice, she cam­paigns for women’s right in Tur­key and bey­ond. Mut­lu means ‘hap­py’ in Turkish.
