Radi­cal Soft­ware: Women, Art & Com­pu­ting 1960–1991 ist die ers­te einer Rei­he von for­schungs­ba­sier­ten Grup­pen­aus­stel­lun­gen. Die Wer­ke von etwa fünf­zig Künst­le­rin­nen aus den Berei­chen Male­rei, Bild­haue­rei, Instal­la­ti­on, Foto­gra­fie, Film sowie zahl­rei­che com­pu­ter­ge­nerier­te Zeich­nun­gen und Tex­te wer­den prä­sen­tiert. Die Aus­stel­lung betrach­tet die Geschich­te der künst­le­ri­schen Expe­ri­men­te in der Vor-Inter­net-Ära der Infor­ma­tik aus einer femi­nis­ti­schen Perspektive.

Die Aus­stel­lung Radi­cal Soft­ware: Women, Art and Com­pu­ting 1960–1991 wird von Michel­le Cot­ton kura­tiert und durch die Kunst­hal­le Wien und Mudam Luxem­bourg – Musée d’Art Moder­ne Grand-Duc Jean produziert.
Eine neue Publi­ka­ti­on mit 27 Künst­le­rin­nen­in­ter­views beglei­tet die Ausstellung.
